Research Experience & Projects
I have contributed to multiple projects spanning digital twins, resilience modelling, geospatial analytics and social sensing. Selected projects include:
- Strengthening Resilience in 4D (2024, Texas A&M University): developed a hyperlocal digital twin for urban flood dynamics in Galveston City, Texas, evaluating sponge‑city interventions under varied rainfall scenarios.
- PRIME (2022–2023): built an empirically validated disaster resilience model for identifying causal socioeconomic factors that contribute to community resilience, implemented on a high‑performance CyberGIS platform.
- Wildland–Urban Interface Dynamics (2023, UCAR & Desert Research Institute): created cyberinfrastructure for high‑resolution mapping of the U.S. wildland–urban interface.
- Veterans Legacy GIS (2021, Texas A&M University): developed a VR‑based headstone environment and experience sharing platform for memorializing American veterans.
- Algorithmic Uncertainties in Social Media Geolocation (2021–2022): analysed geolocation methods for social media and quantified uncertainties across these methods.
